U-Visa Certification (Form I-918 Supp B)
Available for victims of qualifying criminal activity who have suffered substantial mental or physical abuse and possess information helpful to law enforcement in the detection, investigation, or prosecution of the crime.
T-Visa Declaration (Form I-914 Supp B)
Available for victims of severe forms of human trafficking (sex or labor trafficking) who are present in the United States and have complied with reasonable requests for assistance from law enforcement.
Important Clarification: OPDA does not decide or grant immigration status. United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) holds sole legal authority to approve or deny visa applications. An OPDA law enforcement certification or declaration is only one required element of an applicant’s complete petition to USCIS.
