The N.O.D.I.C.E. work on Claiborne Avenue started with a simple observation: crime concentrates where the physical environment invites it. Merchants see those conditions first.

The outreach effort gives business owners a direct line to the office and a clear path for the city services that follow, from lighting repairs to cleaning up illegal dumping and securing vacant properties.

How to take part

Merchants along the corridor can request a visit from the field team through Community Engagement.
