Historical gun-violence and family-violence data led N.O.D.I.C.E. to focus on Hardin Park. Staff then went block by block alongside faith and community leaders to assess blight, drug activity, gun violence, youth access, and neighborhood priorities.
The strategy combines removing harmful environmental conditions with nourishing community life—progressing toward park revitalization, improved lighting, and organized youth sports with local partners.
